6H Ranch is owned by Star and Stacy Hughston and operated with the help of their family. When you buy from 6H Ranch, you’re buying nutritious, rich grass-fed beef directly from the 1 ranching family who runs the business. the cattle are raised on chemical-free pastures, hormone and antibiotic free, and go straight from their ranch where they are born to your dining table.

Our Story

6H Ranch is a four generational family cattle ranch that is located in McBain, Michigan. The Hughston family goes back generations to the founders of McBain. There is a long line of hard-working cowboys who make their living doing what they love to do each and every day.

Star and Stacy Hughston bought 10 cattle in 2000 from Bonnie Hughston and have grown it into the successful cattle operation it is today. The ranch is operated with the help of their children and their spouses; Myles & Jessica Hughston, Ty & Kelley Hughston, Trace & Ashley Hughston, & Logan & Kara Nemeth (Hughston). The youngest generation of cowboys & cowgirls include their grandchildren: Mila-Rose, Denton, Hayes, Brooks, Hadley, & Wells.
